This Thursday we celebrate a milestone. This Thursday we celebrate two years of continuing our stories, of honoring those that have also continued their stories, and look forward with hope to the countless lives that will make the choice to continue their stories.
We celebrate something that has taken on a life of it's own. Something that no one ever expected to become the incredible movement that it has.
I am so incredibly honored to be a part of something so much bigger than I am for such a time as this. I've gotten the opportunity to not only share my story, but to also hear countless stories. Stories of hope. Stories of survival. Stories of redemption.
If you are reading this, it is my hope and my prayer that you would fight to continue your story. That you would be reminded that there are those willing to fight with you and fight for you. You were made for these moments because you don't walk them alone.
If there is still breath in those lungs that God gave you, your story is far from being over. I pray that you would continue to write it.
I encourage you to draw a semicolon on your wrist. Whether you've struggled with these issues in the past, currently struggle with them, or have a loved one that does, you are invited to participate.
Until there are no more periods added to these precious stories, we will keep fighting for those semicolons. Until you are able to stand on your own, we will continue to stand with you.
Thank you for the incredible memories and stories over these past two years. I look forward to seeing where the future takes us. I have a feeling that it will be incredible.
I invite you to follow along with my story and share yours with me over at ohhaiiitsbrandii.wordpress.com
Until next time,
