Stories are important. They are the heartbeat behind what we do. They make us who we are.
But stories are hard to tell without a voice.
It took me a long time to find the voice to my story. A lot of searching. A lot of fighting. And even more tears. But I found it.
And tonight, I get the second opportunity to share that story with my youth group. Most of them have heard the big parts of it. But there are so many details that are intertwined into the bigger story that make it what it is. That make me what I am.
I am humbled that God chose someone like me for a story such as this. A story of hope. A story of redemption.
I'm thankful for the people that have been a part of this incredible story. There are still plenty of pages left to be written in, so I hope you'll stick around.
Stories are better when we are able to share them. I'm so thankful for all the people that I have been able to share mine with.
Here's to many more chapters in all of our stories;
