These words were spoken to around 550 students last week. That despite the desert and the distractions, we should chase after Jesus.
As I said on Monday, I just got back from church camp, and let me tell you, it was incredible.
I had the wonderful privilege of taking 30 of our Refuge students to camp and I'm not gonna lie, I was nervous about it. That's a huge responsibility, one I don't take lightly. And these kids did not disappoint.
They ran after Jesus. They pursued Him. They encountered Him. I encountered Him.
I also had the wonderful opportunity to co teach a class on depression and I got to talk about the project and connect with a new group of people. It's amazing how many people share similar struggles. And it's beautiful to watch them openly share them.
I wish I could have recorded every service for you guys. There's nothing quite like watching 550 students lift their hands in worship.
If you find yourself in a desert season right now, I pray that you keep chasing after Him. He is still there. He is waiting for you. He is there.
You are loved. You are worth it. Your story is far from being over.
Thank you for letting me be a part of it. And thank you for being part of mine.
As always you can keep up with me over at ohhaiiitsbrandii.wordpress.com
Until next time,
